Athinais Hotel

The people were very welcoming, and the hotel was clean and comfortable. Breakfast had a great choice of continental and Greek food. Syntagma, Plaka, Kolona and other places are nearby by metro.

A very simple place, but it suited my business trip well. The room was cleaned every day, breakfast was nice, and the staff were very pleasant. Highly recommend!

The staff are what made Hotel Athinias stand out for me. Everyone was warm and friendly, happy to chat, and took real care with each request. They even anticipated what I might need, offering to arrange transport and preparing a breakfast box for my early departure. Those thoughtful touches felt like something from a five-star hotel. The included breakfast was fresh and had a great variety, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. The location is handy for the metro and within walking distance of the main attractions. I also found the hotel restaurant comforting, like a home-cooked meal, with a host who treated people like family. I felt genuinely welcome from the moment I arrived. I’ll remember this stay for a long time.

I’d happily stay again. I spent four nights at Athinais Hotel in May 2025. The rooms are basic, as you’d expect from a three-star place, but mine was clean and well kept, which matters most to me. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was amazing, with lots of variety and local Greek flavours. I wouldn’t call it basic, despite what some reviews say. You can hear the main street, especially if you’re a light sleeper like me, but I was out exploring most of the day and it didn’t bother me much.
