Euryclea Residences

Chris really made a difference to our trip. He was professional and quick to communicate, and his personal suggestions for food, activities, and sights were right on target for what we wanted. We’re already looking forward to coming back next year. Euryclea Residences is very spacious compared with other hotels nearby at the same price. It’s updated and comfortable, and the free laundry was a real bonus during our two weeks of travel. The location is excellent too, close to Syntagma Square and within an easy walk of Monastiraki Square, the Acropolis, and Plaka. Good bars and clubs are just a block or two away, along with a decent range of restaurants.

The manager was kind, understanding, and had a good sense of humour. He went out of his way to help us when we needed it. I’d rate the stay 10+1, and after staying in plenty of hotels, this is easily the one I’ve liked most. I’d definitely return and recommend it to friends. It took a little effort to find the property, but the apartment felt safe and secure. Everything was new, modern, and in great condition. The showers were hot and powerful, the place was clean, and the sheets and mattress felt up to hotel standards. It made the whole stay feel like being in a luxury hotel.

The studios were spacious, very clean, and comfortable for a longer stay, with everything we needed within easy walking distance. Even though it’s right in the city, it was surprisingly quiet, peaceful, and private. The location is fantastic, the price felt like good value, and our host was wonderful and helpful from booking through to making sure we enjoyed Athens. A lovely find.

The only real drawback for me was the lack of a view, though that hardly mattered given how central the location is. It’s on a quiet street, just 200-500 meters from lots of attractions, right in the middle of Athens. Don’t let the shabby-looking entrance floor put you off. The apartment hotel is on the fifth floor and is modern and well maintained. It’s a good fit for a couple, or a family in one of the larger apartments. The owners are friendly and efficient, and ready to help.
