This was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. For three days they didn’t clean the room or replace the towels, just emptied the bin. Then someone took 100 euros from my suitcase, which I hadn’t locked. The next day I left 1 euro on the table to see what would happen, and that was taken too. There’s no room safe. This place deserves 2*.

The location was close to other places, but the surrounding area was terrible. There were lots of drug users nearby, and I later found out it’s considered one of Athens’ most dangerous areas. I only stayed a few hours because I had an early flight, and didn’t get time to try breakfast. The room was okay. I arrived very late, maybe around 11 p.m., and the receptionist asked for a really high room price. Luckily I had booked through a platform because I was comparing prices. The receptionist then said they could match it, but I’d already made the booking by then. If you’re fearless and don’t mind an unfriendly reception, go ahead.

Awful stay. We arrived at 6pm and the room hadn’t been cleaned. Then I was given a dirty towel, and the shower door was missing from the bathroom. The place was dirty and noisy, and the staff were unfriendly. There wasn’t much choice at meals. In December there weren’t even any oranges or mandarins. The worst hotel in Greece.

The breakfast spread was varied, with plenty to suit different tastes, and the service in the morning was excellent. The staff were attentive, professional, and welcoming. Our room was spotless and had a very comfortable bed. The hotel is also close to the Metro, making it easy to get there from the airport.
