The club below was the main downside. Music started around 10 PM and got louder as the night went on, continuing until 3-4 AM. It meant we couldn’t leave the windows open for ventilation. It’s not fair to rate the apartment poorly just because of the club noise, but anyone considering a booking should know about it, since it definitely detracted from our stay. We were four adults staying at Kiritsi for 4 nights in early June. After we realized we’d made a travel error, the host changed our booking dates at no extra cost. She was helpful with communication and offered airport transport options. She met us at the apartments, showed us around our 2-bedroom unit #9 on the top floor, and made sure we had what we needed. The apartment was modern, simple, very clean, and had the basics. It came with coffee, bottled water, personal-sized body wash, shampoo and conditioner, and ear plugs. The WiFi was strong, and the beds were comfortable with cotton bedding. The kitchen had basic equipment, though the knives were so dull that cutting a lemon was almost impossible. Unit #9 also has a rooftop deck, reached by an outside spiral staircase, with patio furniture, a hammock stand, and planters. It could be a nice space, but it was in a sorry state: it looked like it hadn’t been swept in weeks or months, and there was no hammock on the stand. We were told the previous guests had broken it. Weeds were taking over the planter, though the ferns were somehow still growing. There’s no shade. The current photos also don’t reflect the unit’s condition. They don’t show chipped drywall, damaged bathroom cabinets, or the broken toilet paper holder. We were told the previous guest had broken that too, and there hadn’t been enough time to repair it. It’s near the metro and within walking distance of downtown Athens attractions.

The hosts were quick to respond and happy to help. The room itself was clean and roomy, just what I needed for my holiday. From this spot in the heart of the city, I could get wherever I wanted in a few minutes. I loved it and definitely recommend it.

I arrived at 1am with my luggage, but the road was so crowded with drunk people that I couldn’t even find a way through. With nightclubs blasting music there every day until 4am, it’s literally impossible to sleep. It felt like the bed was inside a nightclub. Fake and bought reviews are killing internet services. Seeing an 8+ score with hundreds of reviews on famous platforms seems impossible. There shouldn’t be any B&B on this road, which is full of clubs. The owner says they can’t be responsible for what happens on the road, but it’s a well-known nightclub street and they’re exploiting tourists who don’t know that. They also claim the property description mentions it, but calling this “sometimes a bit of music on the weekend” is a huge understatement. By the way, they’re called “Yalarent,” but I believe they just change their name as soon as they get flagged too much. ;-)

The clubs on this street play disco music all night, so getting any sleep is impossible. The windows and frames don’t block it at all. It feels like having a disco in your home. Definitely avoid this place if you want to sleep.
