The apartment was clean but very basic, in the basement of an apartment building and very close to the Acropolis. Whether it works depends on what you expect. It's one split room with two beds, a very small bathroom with a small outside sink, and a basic kitchen block. There are no bedside lamps, the wall outlets are awkwardly placed, and you have to heat the water boiler for 20 minutes before using it. The main space is tiny. If you're out all day, that's fine. If you plan to spend time in the apartment, you'll want more comfort.

The apartment is in a good, quiet neighborhood, close to the attractions, and communication with the owner was nice. Still, the photos made it look better than it was. In my opinion, it hasn't been cleaned or renovated properly in the last few years. There are two bathrooms, but both felt cramped and neglected. One door wouldn't close because its frame was old and damaged. The doors open inward, leaving very little room to squeeze in. Both the sink and shower leaked. There was no shower shelf, and you had to hold the shower head the whole time because there was no holder. These seem like small fixes that would make a big difference. There was also no tool for drying the wet floors, just a shower mat that never dried in the damp, cold apartment. We visited in February, when it was cold and damp most of the day. Nice place overall, but don't expect it to match the pictures.

We could walk to the metro, Acropolis, and lots of restaurants, so the location was perfect for enjoying Athens in 24 hours. The bed was very comfortable and the AC worked great. But when we arrived between 4 and 5 PM, the room still hadn't been cleaned or made up after the previous guest. There was rubbish on the dining table and the bathroom was dirty, so we couldn't shower and get ready for our planned outing. We contacted the owner, and they cleaned the room for the night, but offered no compensation. After a long day and a flight, we had to go out without even a glass of drinking water, access to our own bathroom, or a shower. Extremely disappointing.

A nice neighborhood, with plenty of restaurants nearby. The apartment is also close to the Acropolis Museum.

Marios, the owner, was very kind and helpful. The apartment was spotless and really nice, and the location couldn't be more convenient, just a five-minute walk from Acropolis. I'd absolutely recommend it.
