The villa has incredible views, and Chania and the beaches are an easy drive away. It’s surrounded by orange groves, though once you get to the pool you may not want to leave. Such a beautiful place, absolutely recommend it.

What a view from this perfectly located cottage! We had a fantastic stay last week. Everything was clean and looked after, and the house and outdoor areas had lots of amenities, including a pool and BBQ space. The owners were friendly and glad to answer any questions. They’d left cake and other things for us when we arrived. We’d recommend it to anyone.

We had a very nice stay, with a lovely view and a nice pool. They also gave us free oranges. The one drawback was a low background noise that we could hear day and night, possibly from the road or construction.

The hosts made us feel like family from the start. Roula, Theodore, (Mamma) Stella and Christos welcomed us with homemade cake, Greek dishes prepared by Mamma Stella and Papa Theodore, plus local wine and handmade raki. We also got to look after a sweet family of kittens, and the orange groves meant fresh juice every day. It tasted like sunshine. Villa Citrea in Fournes was beautifully kept and equipped, with stunning outdoor space and a pool that was perfect in the heat. The panoramic views and quiet surroundings made it feel like our own little retreat. This was a warm, personal local experience we’ll treasure. Thanks, Villa Citrea. We can’t wait to come back.
