The bed was very good, the place was clean, and the location is terrific. But the room is tiny, and its balcony looks over the bus station, which isn’t a worthwhile view. There are 31 steep stairs to reach the rooms, a real struggle with luggage. There’s no sink in the room, only in the bathroom, so you have to go there for water. Room #1 has a balcony, but only half a door on the shower, and water floods the bathroom. Avoid room #1. This place shouldn’t be called Luxury.

The location is a real plus if you’re based in Chania for day trips, since it’s across from the bus station. The Nespresso machine was handy too. My experience was great overall, though there was dust under the bed and the toilet is literally in the shower.

The apartment was quiet despite being next to Chania’s central bus station, right in the heart of town. If you don’t have a car but want to explore Crete, it’s hard to find a better base. Our host was friendly and easy to communicate with.

The room was cozy, very clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Supermarkets are just 2-4 minutes away, with the shopping area and sea close by too. We had a car and could always find parking nearby, between 4 and 15 minutes away. Traffic made it a little noisy in the evenings and mornings, but it was still a perfect spot for a few days.

I booked because I thought the room had a small kitchen. Just 10 minutes later, I checked the photos again and realized it didn’t. I’m traveling with my 1-year-old and need to cook for him, so I emailed asking for a refund with more than a month still to go before the stay. They wouldn’t return my money. I can’t say whether the room or location is good or bad, but I’m sure the staff are really, really bad.
