Riviera Suites

Even in winter, Chania can be sunny, though windy, rather than cold and snowy. The host was welcoming and accommodating, and the spacious apartment looks out over the harbour. Inside, the wooden floor feels cosy and the bright bathroom makes it feel homely. There’s plenty of room for parking behind the building. Street parties can carry on until 3am, but the soundproofed windows do their job. It's on the top floor, so keep the many stairs in mind if you expect an elevator.

Elia and the staff were wonderful, and we’ll definitely return to Riviera Suites when we're in Chania. It’s a beautiful, comfortable place with excellent service and a very comfortable bed. The harbor and lighthouse views are lovely, and being at the edge of the Old Town makes it easy to get to many restaurants and shops.

The team is so friendly and nothing is a bother. Thanks, Elia and team. We stayed five nights at Riveria Suites, right in the old town with restaurants and shops an easy walk away. It’s close to the nightlife, but we didn't find the noise an issue. The facilities are first rate, with a very comfortable bed and a modern, spacious bathroom. Breakfast was great too.

Our stay at an Airbnb down the street by Koum Kapi had to be cut short because of a leak. The location there wasn't bad, but moving to riviera suites turned out to be a blessing in disguise. The managing lady knew what had happened, was very hospitable, set up an extra bed for us, and made sure the whole family got breakfast in the morning. When we had to leave, sadly, they even packed breakfast for us. We were blown away by this elegant, well located boutique hotel at Chania port. Our top floor room had a lighthouse view and beautiful sunsets, with quite impressive amenities. Private parking at the back was great, though getting in through the tight alleys was a little difficult. There's a ton of action just outside. I'd book here again without hesitation if I return.
