Ayoba Santorini

The hotel is run by the nicest lady, and the service was amazing. Each morning she brought a fresh, delicious breakfast made to our preferences straight to our room. The hot tub was especially nice at night, with Santorini being so windy. There are local shops nearby, and the cliffside view is only a minute's walk away. Follow the cliff boardwalk and you can reach the main city in about 20 minutes.

We spent part of our honeymoon at Ayoba Hotel in Imerovigli, Santorini, and really enjoyed it. We upgraded to the traditional suite, which gave us plenty of room to relax and spread out. The receptionist was warm and genuine, and breakfast arrived in our room each morning: feta, cheese, meat, grilled ham and cheese, breakfast cake, tea, and orange juice. A convenience store next door was handy for Mythos beer, wine, and snacks. There was also the Wine Bar and a few restaurants down the street, so we had plenty of places to eat. The island's attractions on the other side were about a 25 minute Uber ride away. We would've liked more attractions nearby, but the hotel itself certainly delivered.

We rented a car, which made it easy to explore the island and see its different beaches and food options. There are also good restaurants within walking distance, with an ocean overlook, and a small market just outside for drinks and snacks. This is a small, quaint hotel with just a few rooms and a shared courtyard. We got to know some of the other guests there. At night, we could enjoy the Jacuzzi, and in the morning Penelope asked what we'd like for breakfast, then brought it to the table and chairs outside our room so we could watch the sunrise while eating. Our room was a good size and had a microwave and refrigerator. My wife and I stayed for three nights. We were welcomed by the sweetest lady, Penelopy, who gave us a map full of useful information and her personal cell number in case we needed help. She was keen to suggest things to do during our visit.

Our travel agent found this lovely B&B for us, and we're grateful. The breakfast was fresh and amazing, and the staff were polite, friendly, and eager to answer questions or help arrange a bus tour. We'd recommend staying here.
