Breakfast was excellent, with food of good quality and plenty of it, unless you're a particularly demanding gourmet. There are also a pool and some shady spots to sit. The hotel looks modest and intimate from outside, but the rooms inside are comfortable. Just be aware that air conditioning costs extra, which may not matter to everyone. It's cosy, with friendly staff, and sits on a quiet side road about 400 metres from Matala's tourist centre.

The swimming pool is a good size when you want a break from the beach, which is within walking distance. Mrs. Eleni runs this family owned hotel, and her hospitality is so genuine. She's always smiling and ready to help with whatever you need. The rooms are a perfect size, clean, and have all the necessary accessories. I'll definitely come back. Mrs. Eleni touched my heart ❤️

Our family had a lovely stay here. The hotel was close to the beach, and the rooms were clean and comfortable, with a mini fridge. Mrs. Eleni is a sweetheart and helped us with anything we needed. I'd highly recommend staying here!

The staff were incredibly friendly, breakfast was lovely, and the place was clean and well located. But the bed was hard as a rock, and the shower was tiny. We couldn't leave the windows open at night because a nearby band was so loud. The room got quite warm, and we had to ask at reception for the air conditioning remote.

We only stayed one night, so the basic clean room was fine, though it had a fridge and no kettle. Breakfast was continental style and good, and the pool area was nice. Matala is an easy five minute walk on flat ground. It was a pleasant place to stay, and some rooms may have better facilities.
