My boyfriend’s family stayed here for a wedding, and the lovely team made it feel really special. The staff are so warm and welcoming. Breakfast was magnificent, easily the best, and I’m still thinking about all those pastries and tasty dishes. The pool was clean and had beautiful views. You’ll love it here.

Sifnos felt much quieter and more laid-back than Milos, which we’d enjoyed too. The silence here is almost unbelievable, and the WiFi was surprisingly quick for somewhere so remote. Staff were kind and helpful, breakfast had lots to choose from, and the little kitchen was enough for simple meals. The coffee let me down a bit, though I’m fussy about coffee. We’d come back for sure. In high summer, book boat trips, other excursions, and a rental car early. They fill up fast.

Coming back to a freshly cleaned room each time made the stay feel especially comfortable and cared for. The rooms and service were both spot on, and breakfast had plenty of variety and was delicious. We had an amazing time at The Lighthouse Hotel in Sifnos and would happily recommend it.

The owners were lovely and discreet, and the rooms are roomy with spacious bathrooms. They’ve been renovated recently in a 70s style. The setting is unusual, high on the hill with a pristine view of Faros bay, but it gets very windy even on calm days. Faros beaches are reachable by car, and there isn’t much else nearby.
