Danae Suites Santorini

We were so happy with our stay. The staff were attentive and polite throughout, and the honeymoon suite gave us the privacy, lovely views, and calm away from crowds that we wanted. Oia was a 20-minute walk, and there were plenty of restaurants nearby. The hotel food was great at breakfast and dinner. We visited in late October, just before the season ended. Boat cruises were still running, though other water sports weren’t available, and the weather was in the 70’F. The staff booked all our activities, transportation around the area, and a couples massage in our room. One of the best places I’ve stayed.

Finikia town is only a two-minute uphill walk, and Oia is walkable too, so the location suited us perfectly. The pool area had stunning views, and both the food and service were great. The rooms were excellent, the hotel was beautiful and very clean, and the staff were exceptionally friendly. We spent 11 nights here and had a fantastic time. We loved everything and would definitely recommend it to family and friends. We hope to come back soon!

We’d happily recommend this hotel for a relaxing stay in beautiful Santorini. It’s about a 10-minute uphill walk through pretty surroundings to Finikia’s main town and around 20-30 minutes on foot to Oia. The walk means it’s not very accessible for anyone with mobility issues. My sister-in-law and I spent a week here in October for a girls holiday. The hotel is lovely, but the staff are what made it such a fantastic place. Vasiliki at Reception and Archontis at the Bar kept us wonderful company on the evenings we stayed in. Theodora, Christian, Xristos, and Yana were all friendly and incredibly helpful. Our room was spacious and spotless, with a superking bed, sea-view balcony, and hot tub. There was a complimentary bottle of wine, water, a Nespresso machine, and tea when we arrived. Housekeeping came daily while we were at breakfast. Thanks, Yana! Breakfast was included, with amazing options, and the rest of the hotel food was so good. The hotel arranged a sunset catamaran tour with Santorini Yacht Club, which we highly recommend. We also enjoyed a bus tour we booked ourselves through getyourguide.com (NST Travel and Tourism). It was good value and a wonderful day out.

We spent the week unwinding by the pool, taking in the beautiful views, enjoying the jacuzzi on our balcony, trying local restaurants, and walking around the lovely surroundings. Being able to walk into Oia and then return to such a quiet, peaceful place was perfect. Room 23 was a highlight, with sunset views from the jacuzzi balcony, just right for winding down in the evening. Breakfast was lovely and healthy, and the pool food was delicious. The staff were amazing, always accommodating and helpful. We had the most relaxing time at Danae suites and can’t wait to come back!
