Secret View Hotel

The staff really made this stay special. Everyone was welcoming, warm, and attentive, and a big thank you to Eirini, who was especially kind and always ready to help with a smile. The hotel itself has gorgeous rooms, stunning views, and a relaxing feel. We also loved the food. Every meal was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented, and it added a lot to the experience.

James was always a friendly face when we headed out or returned, and the whole staff went above and beyond from the moment we arrived. We spent a big part of our honeymoon at Secret View Hotel and were so glad we chose it. It’s close enough to Oia to feel connected, while still being far enough away for a calm, relaxed stay. Thanks, Secret View. We hope we can come back one day.

We were traveling with our six-month-old, and the staff were so attentive to her needs. Sofia and Irini deserve a special mention. Everyone, from housekeeping to the bar and reception, worked hard and went out of their way to make the stay memorable. The complex was spotless, the restaurant food was delicious, and Oia was just a short walk away. We’d gladly return and recommend the hotel.

Breakfast was brought to the table, with plenty of tasty choices, and there was no buffet, which I appreciated. Dinner was excellent too. The menu was small, but the food was delicious and the service was top notch. Both pools were lovely and well cared for. More shaded places would be nice, though, since the summer sun is intense, especially after spending a day out on a tour. The rooms were great, comfortable, clean, well equipped, with lots of windows, a nice bathroom, and lovely views. The staff were warm and often seemed to know what we needed before we asked. The resort is away from most of the bustle, but a nearby road can get noisy depending on where your room is. The tourists’ four-wheelers are often loud, and that seems to be an issue all over. I’ll take some road noise over staying on the caldera, where tourists might walk by your balcony while you eat, relax, or use the pool, trying to get their Instagram shot and invading your privacy. Paradise. I wouldn’t hesitate to visit again.
