I'm a professional driver and owner of Van Of Fame – Santorini Transfers & Tours, and I had the pleasure of taking some of my guests to Alonia Studios in Firostefani. Everyone's after the sunset here, but the sunrise from the window and balcony was out of this world too. The terrace view was amazing, and our studio had everything we needed. It was cleaned and freshened up every day. The hosts were super helpful, communicated well, and gave us all the practical details and local tips. The place is quiet and private despite being centrally located, close to major attractions in Fira and Firastefani. We had a great time and would visit again.

The view from our room was amazing, and the room itself was good, with AC, a decent kitchen, and a nice-sized bathroom. Fira was very close, but the place still felt quiet and calm. If you're arriving by ferry, I'd recommend arranging a transfer from the port. It was 30 euros for us, since the bus terminal is 20/30 minutes down the hill. Walking back up in the sun with luggage probably wouldn't be much fun.

There's lots of outdoor seating where you can have breakfast on the patio overlooking the sea, and a swing hangs from a tree, just like you'd find in Bali. Everything here is lovely, and the owners are really friendly and accommodating. Late check-in was no problem. The staff are lovely too. At checkout, you can leave your luggage with them and even use a shower if you need one.
