I've stayed in many places, and this is the best Airbnb I've had. I'm surprised by the older reviews. It seems the owners listened to that feedback and made changes. The place was very clean, and the host was kind and easy to communicate with. We were given six large bottles of water, plus cold cuts, cheese, and bread in the fridge for making sandwiches. The infinity pool was deep and clean, and there was lots of outdoor space for a pool party with family and friends. There are plenty of reasons to recommend this place. I wish I'd found it sooner, and I'll definitely be back!

We arrived at Thadeos and decided to move out that same day, even though we had booked five nights. At more than €430 a night, the price felt outrageous for such an average place. Most of it looked like the photos, but the pool was dark green instead of the clear blue shown there, and none of us wanted to get in. The area was the bigger problem. There’s heavy development nearby, with drilling and jackhammering waking us early. On our departure day, linesmen were working on the power lines in the street. I know the host isn’t responsible for that, but we hadn’t expected to pay premium rates for a location that felt so poor. Maybe it’ll be lovely in five years, but it has a long way to go. The nearby streets were scattered with hard rubbish and waste, and the main road noise made sleeping difficult. We also found no hangers in the robes, no bowls or spoons, cheap fixtures and fittings, and several maintenance problems. On the first day we reported a leaking bidet, a broken door handle, and a toilet that kept running. We raised all our concerns with the host that day and asked to cancel for a partial refund. The request was denied, and we were told our claims were false.

We asked for a refund for three of our five nights, but management flatly refused. We were left about 4000 AUD out of pocket for a place we couldn’t use or relax in. The apartment is beside a main road, and sleep was impossible without earplugs. That wasn’t shown in the photos or mentioned in the description. The villa also looks out on busy traffic and basic wasteland, and the pictures conveniently left that out, so we felt tricked about what we were paying for. It was essentially a construction zone: houses right beside the apartment were being built, with jackhammering and other work all day, and power lines were being fitted next to the windows. The pool was green, unlike the photos. There were no bowls, spoons, or hangers, and the bidet leaked while the cistern kept flushing.
