Aressana Spa Hotel and Suites

We enjoyed our week here with our two daughters. The staff were all really friendly and helpful, and the room service was excellent. Our room had its own plunge pool, which was lovely to have. The bar had a nice atmosphere, and the cocktails really are good.

The place was beautiful and relaxing, with plenty nearby and most places within walking distance. The staff were courteous, attentive, and made us feel welcome and respected. They also let us leave our luggage there for a few hours because we had a late flight, which helped. We had trouble with the outlets, but the staff found universal plugs. Keep in mind that things like curling irons need a special plug. There was no ice machine or microwave, so we couldn't heat leftovers from an expensive restaurant and ended up throwing the food away, which was sad. All in all, a pretty good stay.

Walking around Fira was easy from this perfectly placed hotel. Our room was a good size, with a balcony overlooking the sea, and the restaurant served good food. Breakfast offered plenty of options. The staff were wonderful, kind, and helpful, and it was a very nice, relaxing place to stay.

The balcony looked onto an ugly construction site, so I kept the curtains closed for our whole stay. I knew the hotel didn't advertise pretty room views, but it was still a shame. The pool looked like paradise, though it was too cold to swim, and I wish it had a solar heater. I also had a brief look at the spa, which seemed very nice. Despite the bad weather, we had a nice stay at Aressana. We were made to feel welcome, the people were polite and helpful, and the resort was very clean. Breakfast was done exceptionally well. Our room was spacious, especially for a European hotel, but we had a shower problem that was fixed quickly.
