Cabana 112 Cliff Suites

I paid 1,280 Euros for four nights with a non-refundable reservation, but the room had so many problems that I decided to accept the loss and move to another hotel. The hot tub water wasn’t renewed, the bathtub leaked, the walls were cracking, and the room smelled of mold. The room was poorly maintained. Don’t spend your money on a room at this Hotel / Suite. The view isn’t worth it.

My girlfriends and I paid over $700 for two nights, but the room was disgusting. The bed was broken, cracks ran across the room, there were stains on the wall, and there was mold or some other fungus there. We’d been picked up from Santorini airport in a beat-up van, which seemed like poor service for that price. I called the management company to ask for a refund, and the man hung up on me. While I was on the phone trying to book another hotel, the men working there kept eavesdropping and hovering around me, which felt intimidating. Thank god for Mavriat Suites and Vaya, who arranged for a driver to collect us from Santorini town and take us to the new hotel. After we got back to the States, I told booking.com what had happened. Apparently the hotel claimed it would refund me only after I returned the “STOLEN items.” Why would I refuse to stay because of the cleanliness and then steal their towels or anything else? The room and customer service were awful, and we felt uncomfortable after paying more than $700. Do not stay here.

The room was damp, the old air conditioner was full of old water, and the bed linen all felt wet. We’d told them we’d arrive between 14:00 and 15:00, but the room wasn’t ready, so we had to wait another half hour to get in. The private jacuzzi hadn’t been cleaned either. I called reception and a guy came to vacuum it. The whole place could use some upgrading.

The Fira location was very good, and Svaella and Angelo were great, helping with everything. The room could use some fixing: a lot of things weren't working, though they got them sorted out right away. Amazing staff!
