Dream Island Hotel

Breakfast was a real treat, with four menus to choose from and delivery right to our room every morning. The pool was beautiful, with stunning Aegean Sea views and a great place to unwind. The hotel is peaceful and relaxing, yet only a short walk from the attractions, restaurants, shops, and bus station. The owners and staff were kind and helpful with every question and request. Santorini's lovely people and breathtaking landscapes made the trip unforgettable, and I highly recommend Dream Island Hotel.

It's less than five minutes from the center of fira, but you can't hear a thing. I love it here, and the family-run hotel really feels like a family, with everyone pitching in and nothing too much trouble. The staff are so friendly and make you feel part of their family. I first thought everything was five-star, and even hotels I've stayed in with five stars weren't half as nice. The rooms are spotless, charming, and spacious, even for me as a solo traveller. Breakfast comes to your room in the morning, and the pool area is beautiful, quiet, unique, and luxurious. I come to relax and unwind, and always do. This was my third visit when I first wrote this, as amazing, spectacular, and special as I remembered from the year before. I've now been five times, most recently in June 25, and it seems to get better every year. I'm booked for May 26 and imagine I'll keep making the annual trip for many years. It's a slice of paradise. I can't recommend this hotel highly enough. Come and experience it.

A lovely stay. The hotel is right in the town center, with easy access to the cable car, restaurants, and just about everything. You can watch the sunrise from the hotel without crowds, and the pool is clean. The staff are friendly and helpful.

We had a really amazing room, clean and well cared for, with fresh towels and products left every day. The bathroom was carved into the stone, so it really felt like living in a hotel cave. On our first day the A/C had a problem, but they replaced it straight away. The receptionist was humble and helpful, and found us a ride at 5am, which we really appreciated. Breakfast was delicious, had a decent selection, and was brought to our door each morning. The pool had plenty of free chairs, plus sunscreen, towels, books, and pretty much everything you'd need. The hotel is in central Fira, close enough to walk to restaurants, markets, and Caldera views, while still being on the quiet side away from Sunset. One tip if you're coming from the Ferry: contact the hotel beforehand to arrange transport. There are tourist traps at the port that may try to charge 100 euros for a bus ride that should cost 2.50€. For the location, value, and feel of the place, I'd return every time. A++.
