Be ready for a lot of steps. The hotel sits on a cliff above the Ageane Sea and the Volcano!!! The views and landscape were probably the best we've ever had from a hotel. The staff were really friendly and happy to answer questions. We had an amazing stay, this place is a must!!!

The views are stunning by day and at night, and the central location makes it easy to walk everywhere. Our room felt a little damp inside during the summer, probably from the humidity, though the air conditioning was great. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. They made restaurant bookings for us, got us great seats, and had really good suggestions. When our boat wasn't leaving until later in the day, they let us leave our bags and even use a shower after checkout. Their service was seriously unreal.

Spyros arranged our rides to and from the airport and a taxi to Oia, and his polite, friendly service made the trip feel special. For a first visit to Greece, we expected Santorini to be very touristy, but we were surprised by how much we enjoyed it all. The Greek people we met were so friendly. We'd come back to Santorini and stay at Homeric Poems again. The hotel design feels modern while still distinctly Greek. Its cliffside infinity pool overlooks the caldera, and there's a pool bar where you can charge drinks to your room. Alex was a friendly bartender and made a very good mojito. The water was chilly, but felt great after the uphill walk back from Fira. We visited in mid-May, when it was in the low to mid 70s, and the pool was refreshing after sitting outside. Breakfast was easy to arrange by calling in an order the night before, before 6:00p. It was delivered to the table outside the front door. The granola, Greek yogurt, fresh fruit, and honey were top-notch, and freshly cooked eggs were available too. The location is hard to beat, about a 10-minute walk to central Fira, with lots of restaurants nearby. A little square around the corner is where taxis and car services usually drop people off, including our catamaran cruise pickup. The views are incredible. You can step out of your door for a sunset photo instead of competing with influencers on the Fira walkway.

We had four nights here in September and the rooms were spotless. The burger at the pool restaurant was excellent, too. Spyros, Stefanos, and Ilias were so friendly. They answered all our questions and gave us great tips for town. The hotel is right in the middle of things but away from the noise, and the view really does leave you speechless. We had a wonderful stay and will definitely return to Homeric Poems on our next Santorini trip.
