The room was spacious and well looked after, breakfast was top notch and included, and the location couldn’t be more convenient. We also had our favorite fine-dining meal of the trip here. Locals call it Canaves Suites, and it’s known as the best. After doing my research, I was glad I booked it. We arrived to find we’d been upgraded to a newly opened Pool Suite. It was pristine and beautifully maintained. Mornings brought those unbeatable caldera views, while each evening’s sunset seemed different. On our private veranda, we loved lounging on the king-sized cushion beside the shaded pool. Greek petit fours appeared in our room every day, a lovely surprise. WhatsApp made it easy to reach staff for questions or housekeeping. We even had a great view of a sunset proposal at the neighboring hotel, Katikies. This stay took our trip to another level.

We only had a short stay and wished we could have stayed longer. The views from our room were breathtaking, and dinner at the restaurant was a highlight, with incredible food and service. The staff were so kind and helpful, and the resort’s service and amenities were excellent. It’s the most beautiful place on the island. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay overall and hope to come back. The breakfast really is as good as the reviews say, a fantastic start to the day, and the property and service were amazing. The one issue with our Pool Suite was that its pool wasn’t heated, so in late October it was hard to enjoy. One other thing to know: local taxis cost 50-60 euros, while the hotel charged 110. We paid that for convenience on arrival, then arranged our own ride back to the airport for less than half the hotel price.

We had a memorable stay and a great time, though we wished we’d booked four nights instead of three. The staff were attentive and the service was exceptional. Breakfast was divine, and Christos took wonderful care of us. We loved the pool and lunch there, with food we still remember. One evening, though, the same salad ordered to our room tasted different from the version we’d had earlier. I’d also asked about the spa after the hotel contacted me before arrival, but although they said someone from the spa team would get in touch, no one did, so I skipped it. We were told we’d been upgraded from a junior suite to a superior suite, though the room didn’t look quite like the website photos, so I wasn’t sure the upgrade had happened.
