The location and the view were wonderful, but the reception staff were rude. Reception was only open until 4:00 p.m., then closed for the rest of the day. The hotel arranged our airport transfer, and it was the worst experience of our trip. The driver was asleep at the airport, drove far too fast, and spent the ride talking on his phone. He didn't speak English, and he was rude when we arrived, insisting we pay in cash when we didn't have any. Unacceptable.

We enjoyed our stay. Vitali carried our suitcases up and down the stairs, and the staff helped arrange a driver and gave restaurant suggestions. Breakfast came to our own outdoor table. The view was spectacular, and the location was perfect, right in the centre and close to shops, restaurants, and photo spots. Everything was around us, so we didn't need to go anywhere else.

The staff made getting around those many steps so much easier. The gentleman who handled our suitcases helped both when we arrived and when we left, and the front desk team were incredibly helpful too. We loved the peaceful, relaxing pools and the lovely breakfasts they brought to our balcony each day. The hotel’s location is top notch, and the view is breathtaking. It really felt like a dream, and we couldn’t recommend it more.

The whole experience was stressful and expensive. We booked July 29-August 2, but the reservation somehow showed June 29-July 2, the same dates in the wrong month. We only discovered the mistake after that check-in date had passed, when the hotel finally tried to contact us. At first, both the property and reservations team said they would try to move the booking. After several calls and follow-ups, reservations never approved the change, and we were charged for a stay we never took. When we tried to book the correct dates, they wouldn’t keep the original rate, offer a discount, or give us credit, even though we were trying to resolve a mistake that had already hurt us. If this is how they treat someone making a genuine effort to fix things, I can’t imagine how it would go for a new or less patient guest. We had to chase them for answers because communication was poor and updates didn’t come. Anyone traveling internationally, especially through a third-party platform, should be very cautious.

Even with the busy main path through Oia nearby, the Armeni property stayed peaceful. It’s close to the best restaurants, and the views are breathtaking. Breakfast was included, simple but good. I’d definitely visit again.
