Caldera Premium Villas — Adults Only

The balcony had a stunning ocean view, and breakfast was wonderful. The staff were polite and considerate, too. Just be ready for around 60-80 steps down from the main road. That was fine for me, but you’ll want strong knees to enjoy this lovely place 😊.

We picked Caldera Premium Villas for its quiet location with open views of the ocean and Caldera. That was the deciding factor for my wife and me among the well-reviewed Oia hotels. We’d first booked Vogue suits, but construction there meant we were moved to Caldera Premium Villas at check-in, with breakfast included for the stay. We had four nights, and breakfast was consistently good. At the end, we were upgraded to a suit because of unavoidable circumstances, and it was fantastic. The setting gave us the whitewashed Santorini look, beautiful views, luxury accommodation, and a break from the crowds we wanted. Service was warm and thoughtful from the start. Mrs Diana anticipated what we needed, and the welcome drink had a real zing. Ms.Diana, Ms.Karla, and the breakfast staff looked after us so well; we especially enjoyed hearing a little of her story. The concierge team knew their stuff and suggested tailored experiences without being pushy. Staff also let us leave our luggage after checkout, and Ms. Diana brought us another refreshing lime juice while we waited. We were blown away by the care. The villa was spotless, breakfast was delicious, and pickup and drop-off were right on time. We didn’t use the pool because it was in direct sun. One morning we saw a baby in the room next to ours, even though the place is adults only. Also, getting to and from the rooms means tackling a lot of stairs. We work out regularly and still found it a grind.

We booked the premium view villa, and those AMAZING views made the stairs worthwhile. The staff were kind, too. As other guests have said, without the view, that climb probably wouldn’t feel worth it. With ours, it did.
