Bubble Suite

The views of the Blue Domes and the sunrise are spectacular, but our stay at the Bubble was very disappointing. The air conditioner wasn’t cooling properly, and the room stayed warm. We paid for reliable, cold AC, but had to get up every hour to reset it to turbo mode. Running it that way kept tripping the room’s breaker, so we had no electricity the following morning and the already warm room became unbearably hot. They may tell you the AC works and you just need to shut all the windows. Don’t fall for it. Check that the room is cold at check-in, because if it’s warm, you’re going to be miserable. Some people may think the view is worth staying in a sauna and not complain. We contacted the manager at 11 p.m. and were told nothing could be done until morning. Nobody came to check the unit until 11 a.m. the next day, even though it was 90 degrees outside, and nothing was fixed. We couldn’t finish our stay and booked somewhere else with AC that worked as expected. Also, when we turned on the hot water, it was brown. We didn’t even bother mentioning that to the manager. The living conditions in this premium unit were completely uninhabitable.

Verónica was a wonderful host. She gave us great recommendations, arranged transfers both ways, and made sure our luggage was taken care of. The Bubble Suite is right in the middle of everything in Oya, just above the domes, and the private balcony has a view that never gets old. The spacious room had every detail thoughtfully considered and was spotless, from the towels, sheets, and bathrobes to the iron, hair dryer, and everything else you’d expect from a 5-star hotel. I truly recommend staying here and would love to come back.

Veronica was lovely, kind, and helpful throughout my stay at The Bubble Suite. The balcony view is incredible, and the bed was comfortable. I had a wonderful time and would definitely come again.

Bubble Suite Santorini was a dream come true. Its distinctive design and panoramic views were breathtaking. Veronica, the manager, was exceptionally kind and welcoming, and made sure our stay went perfectly. We can’t wait to visit again.
