I left with mixed feelings about Blue Mythical Santorini. The staff were kind and welcoming, and on our last day we were given access to a better room with the full caldera setting. That room was fantastic and felt worth the price. At first, though, I was disappointed. I had booked months ahead hoping for a full caldera view, but the room we got was listed as “Caldera view” and only had a partial view. That distinction wasn't clear when booking, and the room was listed and priced like those with the full iconic view. No solution was offered at first, which made an important trip feel less special than I'd hoped. Things ended much better, but I wish the details had been fair and clear from the start. Future guests should confirm exactly which room and view they'll get before booking.

We had booked a fully refundable room, then found a better option on the island and tried to cancel. There was no cancellation option on the website, so we emailed Mythical Blue. They confirmed we could cancel without a fee any time before September 22. Even so, they charged our card and now insist our rate wasn't fully refundable. This is an unethical hotel and business. Do not stay here.

Our room had a lovely cave-like feel, tucked away, quiet and dark, which was perfect for sleeping and getting out of the sun. It was also an easy walk into town, with lots to see and do. Management were so friendly, the coffees were gorgeous, and breakfast was nice. We had a fantastic stay.

We chose the “Deluxe Suite with Hot tub and Panoramic View” for our honeymoon, and it was one of the best rooms on the property. The view over fira was amazing, and our rooftop had sun beds and a private jacuzzi tub. The location was ideal, with a quick downhill walk to shops and restaurants. Ilias and the team helped with anything we asked for, and breakfast was great every morning. Guests can also use the infinity pool overlooking the old port and Fira. Highly recommend the room and hotel!

The location and views were top notch for dining, shopping, going down to the port, and taking in the scenery. After visiting Oia, I think Fira, especially Mythical Blue, is the better place to stay. We'd absolutely return to this hotel when we're back in Santorini. Our five day stay was wonderful. The room was unusual and spacious, cave-like, with separate bathrooms and showers, a huge Jacuzzi tub, a comfortable king bed, and an outdoor Jacuzzi beside it looking out over the sea and caldera. Ilias and all the staff were friendly and helpful. They met us where our airport transfer dropped us, carried our luggage down, and explained the property. Mike made a great cappuccino, while Socrates made lovely cocktails. They both served delicious breakfast each morning with a smile, and we enjoyed chatting with them. Socrates also arranged a car rental for a day so we could see the island's beaches and Oia. Thanks again, and hope to see y'all soon! Mike and Monica
