Santorini Palace

The beds were comfortable, the views were fantastic, and the staff were incredibly helpful and sweet with our kids. They even gave us complimentary bubbles for my birthday. Breakfast was busy, but offered a great mix of local and other options. A few things made the stay harder. The exit sign was so bright in the room that I couldn't sleep, and I learned too late at night that an engineer had to come in to turn it off. Pool drinks cost €15, compared with €6-10 in town. Being up on the cliff is lovely for sunsets and quiet, but the steep, sweaty walk to and from Fira was challenging with a toddler and baby. In September the wind was very strong. The sun was out, but the unheated pool was freezing. A pool heater would make this accommodation much better.

We stayed in mid-October 2025 at Santorini Palace and loved the room. It seemed brand new, was exceptionally clean, and had great air conditioning. The room effectively had a private pool. From the property's spot on the island's crest, you can see sunrise and sunset either from your room or just 75 steps away at Three Bells. There is plenty of free parking, and Fira city center is an easy walk for shopping, seating, and nightlife. The bus stop is also very close by. This is an exceptional property, don't hesitate to book. F

Jonida at reception made our arrival feel warm from the start. She was efficient and professional, but also genuinely kind, and she answered everything with a smile. Her tips for places nearby were great. The hotel was spotless and had excellent amenities too. That kind of hospitality stays with you, and I’ll be back.

Nebil made our mornings feel special, and his care and eye for detail really stood out. He went well beyond what we expected to make sure everything was right. The reception team kept checking that I felt comfortable and happy throughout the stay. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and professional, and the hospitality was wonderful. Thank you for the lovely memories and warm care. I hope to return.
