Sea of Aegeon

The staff were excellent, and so was the cleaning service. Reception gave us really useful information about Santorini, and the rooms were clean. It took around 10 to 15 minutes to get to the centre and bus station. The downsides were the very small pool, an uncomfortable hard bed where you could feel the springs through the fabric, and a tiny shower with no wall holder for the shower head. The air conditioning was very noisy and clearly needed maintenance or repair.

The receptionist was a really nice girl and helped us a lot. The hotel itself was nice too, but the shower could use some changes. There’s no holder, so you have to keep it in your hand, and the space is so tight that the curtain keeps touching your body. It didn’t feel comfortable.

After a hot day, the little pool was so nice, and there was cold water in the fridge. It’s a basic, clean hotel with a friendly receptionist. She asked whether we wanted to see the room or get information first, then showed us a map and explained where the supermarket, restaurants and other places were. The shower space is tiny, the handheld head isn’t attached to the wall, and the curtain keeps clinging to you. The hotel is at the bottom of a hill, and the road is gravelly, which I didn’t enjoy.

Esmeralda at reception was very helpful. She pointed out places to visit and helped us with a booking. The location was nice and easy to reach by car, and there was parking. There’s also a cute pool on site.
