Villa Murat

The location at Villa Murat is hard to beat. The owners were incredibly kind and went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed. We had a fantastic stay and would gladly return.

Villa Murat was spacious and private, just right for a relaxing family holiday. Christina organized everything so well, replied promptly and was an outstanding host. We had a great time and would like to thank her. We’re already recommending the place to family and friends, and plan to make it a regular family spot.

We were nine people, so the house worked out to 190 euros per person per day, which felt inexpensive for the accommodation we got. We booked it for the end of July and start of August. Hotels with pools and similar views started at 450 per suite for two, and we wouldn’t have been able to party or spend time together in the same way. In three words, I’d describe the villa as excellent service, unbelievable views, best location.

The house felt more like a mansion than a villa, with room for at least ten people even though there were just three couples in our group. The accommodation was what we expected from a luxury villa. We loved the privacy while still being close to the center, and that location meant the island didn’t feel empty despite the Covid restrictions during our August stay. The pool views were spectacular, and we spent three days enjoying them. The woman who welcomed us was polite and gave us her mobile number in case we needed anything, though we didn’t end up using it. Breakfast was like a five-star hotel and served on request. I’d recommend it for groups larger than five, but not smaller groups, since the size makes it expensive.
