They let me check out an hour later, which was much appreciated. The place is right by the beach and castle.

A quiet little paradise away from the crowds, with the beach right there for an early morning swim. The sea view is magical, and we could hear the waves when we woke up. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and practical. The bathroom and kitchen had the basics, along with mosquito nets and air conditioning. We spent four nights at Mylos Alexandra in Frangokastello and had an unforgettable time. It feels ideal for couples or small families wanting peace and an authentic Cretan feel. We’ve already booked for next summer.

The sea feels like it’s right in the room’s own yard! Alexandra's room is in a lovely, quiet complex. The rooms are renovated, clean, and so romantic.

A magical spot away from mass tourism. You’re right by the water, with a shaded garden looking out over the sea and lagoon, and the castle nearby.

We’ll definitely come back. It’s a peaceful place to rest, and the rooms are clean with the essentials for a stay. The water is shallow and calm, even when it’s windy, so it’s ideal for little kids. At night there’s no light pollution, which also makes it a great place for astrophotography.
