Cooking with the group was one of my favorite meals of the whole trip. The recipes were easy to follow, and everything tasted DELICIOUS. Katerina welcomed us so warmly, and the whole crew made our large group feel at home. It was a highlight of my two weeks in Greece, and I’ll always remember it. We toured the grounds and loved the organic gardens, flowers, and trees. The pool was amazing for cooling off after class, and we even had a photo shoot. The glampers looked like a fun place to stay overnight, too. There was jewelry for sale, and we did some of our best shopping between the class activities. Sherry Kelaidis had handmade beautiful pieces from sea glass. We were happy to meet her and enjoyed chatting. Everyone we met was so welcoming and kind. I’d highly recommend this place and hope I can return someday.

After leaving for our next stop in Greece, we quickly realized how much we missed Odyssey. We messaged Christina to ask if we could come back, and within an hour she had a beautiful canvas lodge ready for us. Walking back felt like coming home to family, with big hugs all round. We’d originally planned to stay two weeks, but ended up wishing we’d stayed longer. We’d never tried glamping, so we didn’t know what to expect. Christina made everything easy from the start, helping arrange boat days and fishing trips, and she was a joy to be around. Her singing at the Wednesday BBQ night was a highlight. Katarina and Rik have created a special place, and their care for both the property and the people really shows. It’s a peaceful retreat where you can switch off, while still being able to pop over to Poros for a livelier atmosphere. The team and other guests made us feel like family. The pool was great for cooling off or sneaking a shady nap, and BBQ nights meant delicious food, live music, and dancing. Hydra and the other islands are easy day trips. The area is close to Athens but wonderfully non-touristy, and we felt part of the local community. This is a real retreat from daily life. Galatas is about a 15-minute walk away, with plenty of restaurants and supermarkets. We often cooked in the shared facilities, which was fun and a good way to meet other guests. A taxi back from town costs only €4-5 if you have shopping. From Galatas, the ferry to Poros takes 5 minutes, costs €1.50, runs every 10 minutes, and operates 24/7, giving you access to lots of shops and restaurants. We couldn’t recommend this place more and can’t wait to return.

I’m usually more into comfort than camping, but Odyssey won me over. The farm is beautiful, just across from Poros, with a great view, calm water, a shared kitchen, and even a pool. You can choose a cottage or a spacious tent, pick fresh fruit, or join one of the cooking classes and share what you make at lunch. It’s a great family getaway, less than two hours from Athens and barely 15 minutes from Poros.

Christina gave us such a warm welcome when we arrived and regularly checked in at our house to make sure everything was fine. She also shared ideas for things to do and let us know about cooking classes and other activities. We loved our time there and only wish we could have stayed longer. In spring, the citrus trees were blooming, and the scents were astonishing. Our two-bedroom house was peaceful and beautiful, with a kitchen for breakfast and light snacks. We sat on the front porch, taking in the views and listening to the chickens and sheep. The farm is full of olive, lemon, and orange trees, which provide shade and beautiful vistas. It really felt like being tucked into the countryside. The pool and its surrounding area were lovely, with a warm, welcoming boho-eco feel. There’s a fresh vegetable garden, and its produce is used for cooking lessons, which we thought was a great idea. We loved the communal kitchen, though in spring they were still getting it ready for summer. You can cook lunch or dinner there and eat outdoors at one of the many tables. Beside it, there’s a shared living room with books and sofas, a nice place to have coffee or tea and feel part of the farm. A little door leads to the beach, where there are sunbeds and pool towels. The small jetty is a lovely place to sit and look toward Poros, especially at sunset. You can also rent electric bikes to explore the nearby area and Galatas.

Katerina welcomed us so warmly for the cooking class, and cooking together as a group was one of my favorite moments of the trip. We learned to make several delicious dishes, then enjoyed the food together and got a little recipe book to take home. Such a beautiful day, thank you!
