Georgioupolis Beach Hotel

The rooftop restaurant was a highlight, with sea views at sunset and fresh, beautifully served food that went perfectly with local wine. It all felt dreamlike. The pool and spa are gorgeous, and the whole place has a thoughtful, welcoming feel. Staff were attentive and kind in a way that seemed sincere, and you can see how much care they put into creating the atmosphere. Our time at Georgioupolis Beach Hotel was pure bliss. Thank you to the whole team.

We especially enjoyed the free spa access. We worked out in the morning, tried a cold plunge for the first time, then used the Jacuzzi at night when it was cooler. That cold plunge was something else. The Coco mat beds and pillows were great, and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. Service was impeccable, and the hotel is right on the beach. We had a great time and will definitely be back.

We’ve stayed here six times, and the hotel is exceptionally clean. The outdoor pool area gets washed regularly and the sunbeds are kept immaculate. Staff are all friendly and welcoming, and owner Antonio often stops for a chat. Since our stay last July, there have been a few changes. The kitchens have been taken out of the rooms we use, and there’s now a large chair that converts into an extra bed. The downstairs toilet area has been fully reworked with more toilets added. Two rooms now have private pools where they used to face a green space. The location is handy, just a short walk from the shops, restaurants, and town centre. I can highly recommend the hotel, just don’t book our usual room, we’ll be back for it next year.

I booked an August room through Booking.com, and the listing clearly said there’d be no prepayment. The hotel charged me €1000 anyway, without warning. I cancelled straight away because I suspected a scam, but I still haven’t received my refund. Fortunately I booked through Booking.com, which guarantees a refund. After this, I’ll never stay at this hotel, and I’d advise others to avoid it too. These practices are outrageous.
