There are many excellent beaches a short drive away, and lots of restaurants plus two supermarkets within walking distance. Our room was right on the beach, with a gorgeous sea view and a large balcony where we spent a lot of time. Great value for money, a comfortable bed and pillows, and a mosquito net on the balcony. Housekeeping was excellent. You can borrow a sunbed for the beach and get an umbrella too, just ask at reception. We had a small kitchen corner that was enough for breakfast, and there was private parking and a playground as well. The shower was tiny, and with only two sockets in the room, charging devices was a bit of a challenge.

The rooms at Villa Kalliopi are big and comfortable, with air conditioning and a kitchen. The cleaning was perfect, and they checked every day to see if I needed the room cleaned. Everything was perfect.

The garden is enormous, feels safe for children, and has a playground. Our daughter was just one and a half when we booked, and we still got a few peaceful moments while she played on her own or with our dog. The place is pet friendly, too, with the sweetest mascot, a beagle called Iris. The garden opens straight onto a clean, cozy beach that wasn't crowded at all. There are stairs and a wheelchair ramp, plus sunbeds in the garden that you can take down to the beach. The host was gracious, and the cleaning was 10/10. We even had to ask the cleaning ladies not to come in and change all the sheets every day. Everything was splendid, by far our best vacation ever, and definitely suited to families with kids.
