We only booked one night, but could easily have stayed longer. The room was spotless, with a balcony, a comfortable bed, fresh towels and a great bathroom. Breakfast was included, with lots to enjoy alongside a beautiful harbor view. A great, clean hotel and a really nice experience once we settled in.

The bathroom was a decent size, though the shower could have been cleaned a bit better and the toilet kept running. The room had three separate beds, which I liked, and a balcony with a nice view. Everyone we spoke to was friendly. Breakfast was a good extra, especially the “Cretan sweet treats” I loved. I'm really happy with my stay and glad I chose this place in Heraklion.

Staff were nice and helpful with all our questions. It's a handy stop for shopping and getting to the harbor quickly, but parking is difficult. The rooms felt a little run down, and the planes taking off from the airport made them very noisy, so bring earplugs! Fine for a quick stop, but I wouldn't suggest a longer stay.

The breakfast view is fabulous, and there's lots of choice at the buffet. Receptionists were very helpful. The rooms aren't especially big, but you don't come here to sit in your room all day. It's a very reasonably priced stay, in an ideal spot close to the harbor, old city, Knossos bus and bus terminal.

The Marin Hotel was a wonderful place for our stop in Heraklion. We could easily walk to markets, restaurants and attractions, and it was well placed near both the ferry port and airport.
