Anemos Cave Suites

Less than 24 hours after we booked, we were told we couldn’t stay because the hotel was under construction. They moved us to a sister property in OIA, and although they offered a refund, we had nowhere else to go if we took it. It all felt very calculated and ruined our trip. The room was really unhygienic. There were blood and lipstick stains on the mattress, cat and human hair in the bed, and dirty floors. We complained and the cleaner came twice, but the place was still extremely dirty. It makes you question their hygiene standards. For the price, find somewhere else, or at least check carefully where you’ll be sleeping. This place will ruin your trip. Look at other reviews. Don’t be taken in by whatever they reply. These people are greedy and don’t care about you.

The suites were amazing, and the view was breathtaking. Excellent location and really high-quality amenities. My best stay in Santorini!

The terrace and private hot tub made the Honeymoon Suite feel like a dream, with a view and sunsets that were hard to beat. We could watch the whole sunset from Imerovigli, which isn’t possible from some other parts of Santorini. The suite was spacious, elegant, and thoughtfully designed, with a dining table where we could have breakfast or dinner while looking out. The king-size bed was wonderfully soft, high, and comfortable. Everything was spotless. The room was cleaned when we left a card authorizing it, and the pool was cleaned each morning. The windows facing the pool were always immaculate. We also had bathrobes, slippers, pool towels, and bathroom kits for both him and her, including a razor, makeup remover pads, and cotton swabs. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and service was impeccable. We hadn’t expected such a beautiful place at Anemos Cave Suites. It made our holiday extra special, and we’d recommend it if you’re after comfort, quiet, and a spectacular view. A true dream, and worth treating yourself to at least once! 😍

We’d booked a room with a hot tub for our Santorini stay in April, but two days before we were due to leave, we were told the hotel was being renovated and wouldn’t be ready. They gave us a different reservation without asking or consulting us. Then our flight was cancelled indefinitely because of the weather on the day we were supposed to depart, so we decided to cancel the stay. The hotel refused to refund us or offer alternative dates for the reservation. If you want a hotel where you won’t run into problems later, I’d avoid this one.
