Caldera Memories

With only 10 rooms, the hotel had a quiet, private feel, and the view was exactly what we’d hoped for. We loved our stay at Caldera’s memories. Kalliope made sure we were comfortable and well looked after. One evening we watched the sunset at the hotel, which I’d recommend, and she brought us blankets and a treat. Restaurants for everything we needed were within walking distance.

Spotlessly clean, with an amazing location and breathtaking views. The staff were kind and attentive in a way you don’t see every day. Calliope was wonderful and made sure every part of our stay went perfectly. I’d definitely come back!

The peaceful atmosphere and the view made this place feel magical, and it’s going to stay in our hearts. Everyone on staff was so kind and available whenever we needed them. Special thanks to the lovely woman who looked after us with such care and made us feel welcome throughout our stay. We’re grateful from the bottom of our hearts, and we’ll definitely return.

Caldera’s Memories has one of the best infinity pools and views I’ve seen, and our four nights there were in a fantastic setting. Still, the price left me disappointed with some things. There’s no restaurant, so breakfast has to be chosen in advance from a limited list. It was okay, but we’ve had tastier breakfasts elsewhere, and it didn’t feel up to the hotel’s standard. Our honeymoon suite was spacious, but the bed and sheets could have been more comfortable, and the bathroom seemed dated. The staff were friendly at first, but on our last day they called at 11:05 because we hadn’t checked out. The room card holder said noon was the checkout time. We left at 11:25, and they spoke to us poorly even after we explained the misunderstanding. I’ve never had that kind of treatment at a hotel of this standing. Also, I only found out after drinking a whole glass that the water wasn’t safe to drink. The receptionist hadn’t mentioned it, and there was no notice in the room. It’s a nice place, but for the price I think the facilities should be upgraded, with a restaurant and better service.
