We bonded with the awesome cat on the property’s pedestrian walkway, and we’d love to see photos of how he’s growing up! We came as a large group of about 16 for the twins’ 50th birthdays and were blown away by the stay. Imerovigli was the perfect place on Santorini. All the staff were amazing, the husband-and-wife pair in the cave bar serving breakfast each day were magnificent, and the evening bartenders were a blast. We highly recommend adding breakfast. Spending at least three days on the island is a great way to see Fira, OIA, hikes, shopping, restaurants, and more.

We ended our travels in Greece on a high with our stay at Heliotopos. Even at the end of the season, we were warmly welcomed and looked after. The hotel is lovely, with simple, tasteful, authentic rooms and spectacular views. There’s a lovely walk from the hotel into Fira. I’d highly recommend watching sunset from your balcony with a glass of good local wine from the hotel's wine bar.

The family-run feel came through in every part of our stay and in the way the staff interacted with us. Leela, the welcoming owner, treated us to Indian-Greek style halwa. We stayed in April, and the view from the room was perfect. Each room has its own private balcony, and there’s a walkway just outside the hotel with breathtaking views. Freshly squeezed orange juice was the breakfast highlight.

I landed at midnight after my flight was delayed, but the kind gentleman stayed up to check me in when I arrived at 1am. The room was better than I’d imagined, with a great view, AC, and shower, and every staff member we met was very kind. Great customer service and a great stay for a great price.

I had to cancel because of a situation outside my control, the government shutdown. I was extremely disappointed that after several emails asking about rescheduling options, I never got a reply. I called twice as well, but got no clear answer. Eventually they emailed to say the hotel’s policies meant I would still be charged.
