The room was huge, and the location is beautiful. Everyone on staff was lovely. I only took off a star because I didn’t know until we arrived that the jacuzzi wasn’t next to our room. If you book, I’d definitely try for the honeymoon suite, with the jacuzzi right outside and a great view.

The staff were friendly, hardworking, and brilliant, and the rooms, terrace jacuzzi, and service were all amazing. The views are so beautiful it’s hard to put them into words. Our breakfast was just okay for what we paid, though. The main reason I can’t give more than three stars is what happened on our first night of our honeymoon. My wife and I had planned to pick up takeaway and watch the sunset with pizza in the jacuzzi on our private balcony, separate from the room. When I went up the steps, two other guests were in the jacuzzi, drinking champagne and taking sunset photos. They half apologized when I explained we’d paid for a private area, then acted as if they thought it was public, even though their room was downstairs and they had their own hot tub. Our room was obviously more expensive, with the best view of the island from the top of the property. It ruined the evening and left us really disappointed. At 8 pm the host came by, apologized, told the guests they shouldn’t have done it, and said the tub would be cleaned. That was all. I know the hotel wasn’t responsible for those two entitled, cheeky guests pretending they didn’t know what they’d done, but I do feel the hotel could have done more to make it right. We paid 2.4k for four nights, more than €500 a night, and got only an apology and a cleaned pool. I’d hoped that by not shouting or swearing, we might get something like a discount or a restaurant meal voucher. We didn’t. If I were hosting, I’d have done more. Without the incident and the lack of compensation, I’d have given five stars.

We stayed in the master Suite, right at the top of Santorini, and could see the whole island. The views were beyond words. Our room was separate from the pool, but it came with great amenities, and the staff went above and beyond to help with what we needed. We really enjoyed our stay and would come back.

The crew were the best, genuinely kind and attentive to all the details. It’s a quiet spot with beautiful scenery, and the view was perfect for photos. Fira is close, about a 10-15 minute walk along a lovely route. I stayed in two bedrooms. Majestic was just perfect, amazing. Petic Cave was good enough, just a little petit, jeje. Both had warm pool or jacuzzi water, and the rooms felt new, clean, and nicely designed. I loved it. You should check it out!
