Merovigliosso Apartments

The hotel is gorgeous, and the room was pretty and very peaceful. Still, I woke up to a live worm in the room and an awful draft. I have to assume the door we never opened hadn’t been shut all the way. It was also humid and generally wet in there, and the service was subpar. The complimentary breakfast was amazing, and I do recommend the hotel to travelers.

The location is probably the best outside Oia and Fira, right at the top of the imerovigli mountain, with a clear view across the entire island from outside the property. The hosts were amazing and very polite. Freddie greeted us so warmly and walked us through a pamphlet covering everything Santorini as soon as we arrived at the apartments. The room had all the utensils and appliances we needed, including a fridge, oven and electric stove. Excellent quality and service, it felt like a 4-star stay at a 3-star price.

The airport pick-up and drop-off made the stay feel safe and dependable, and everything else was just as good. The staff were kind, breakfast was delicious, and the room was very clean. I stayed at Merovigliosso Apartment for my honeymoon, and choosing it was one of my best decisions. Highly recommended!

We were sorry we hadn’t booked one more night. The walks nearby are beautiful, and the place is right across the street from the caldera hotels and restaurants, so you can head out on foot. The room and bathroom were gorgeous and spacious, and both the WiFi and AC worked well. There was body soap and shampoo, but no hair conditioner, which left my Slavic hair dry and brittle in the Greek wind. The host gave us a great introduction, carried our bags and showed us where everything we might need was. The pool was nice, the room was clean and cleaned daily, and breakfast was yummy, honestly 100% awesome. A buffet would’ve been the only improvement, lol. They also left us a free bottle of Greek wine as a gift. This accommodation cost less than our Athens hotel but gave us much more.
