Andronikos Santorini

The sunsets and location were extraordinary, and the reception staff were kind and helpful. Andronikos ran smoothly, and the views might be among the best in the world. Our room was right on the main walking street, so it felt very public, but the sunsets made that easier to forget. A couple of things could be better. The room was much smaller than we expected, and the jacuzzi was tucked behind a wall. The listing photos showed larger rooms and the upstairs lobby, not the room we actually booked. I’m fine paying more, but guests should be able to see exactly what they’re paying for. The boat trip recommended by the staff was lovely and worth doing. Still, the hotel quoted €140 per person for the sunset tour, and later I found the same trip on GetYourGuide.com for €110 or less. The driver also charged us €300 for two people and wouldn’t give us a receipt. I was tired and paid, but it left me uncomfortable. I understand businesses need to make a profit, but at this price level I expect openness and fairness. I’m sharing this in good faith and would consider returning if these issues were addressed.

Giota was wonderful, always helping us find fun things to do, places to visit, and good food. The staff were lovely, and breakfast was delivered each morning for us to enjoy with the ocean view. We stayed three nights at Andronikos and had one of our best sunset views right from the room. Nothing bad to say, 10 stars!

The location and view were great, though the room was right on a busy walking path with lots of people passing. The view is breathtaking. Alex and his team were very friendly and accommodating. Our room had a spa, but it was noisy and leaked by the entryway. The rooms could use some attention.

There’s a walkway right outside the room, so lots of people pass by, especially at sunset. The room itself was pretty good and had a small plunge pool. Imerovigli’s view is ten times better than Santorini’s, and a night here is definitely worth it.
