Irini's Villas Resort

The room was quaint and clean, and the view was breathtaking, although similar views are common at cliffside places in Santorini. But the overall stay was frustrating. The two women on staff seemed overwhelmed doing everything, and every guest we met had been moved at least once, some daily. They blamed high season, but it felt like they had overbooked badly. We booked seven months ahead and refused to move because we needed to unpack and didn't want to pack again before departure. The included continental breakfast was plain and never changed. There are lots of stairs in Santorini, and here there was no porter to help with bags from the drop-off point, so be ready to carry them yourself. The pool was about the size of a hot tub and hadn't been cleaned during our five days. They claimed to offer an airport shuttle, but when we arrived in the early evening no one answered the phone for over an hour. We took a taxi and had to argue for compensation. There are many nicer resorts in Santorinin at a comparable price. I wouldn't stay again.
