The location was decent, with parking and the bus station within walking distance, but the room felt very budget for what it cost. My windows were covered, so there was no sunlight coming in, and there was no breakfast, which was disappointing at that price. I booked a king bed and got a queen instead. The place felt more like a three-star budget hotel than I expected. They did kindly let me check in early, and check-in itself was self-service. The Wi-Fi password had been changed, so I had to ask for it. They weren’t available on WhatsApp for some reason, so I emailed and waited a while for a reply. Overall, it was very average.

The room was very nice and had a sea view, and the location was great. Staff were friendly and helpful. Although we checked out in the morning and had a late flight, they let us return after a day at the beach to shower at the pool and change.

We loved our stay. The hotel was very clean and spacious, and breakfast was really good. Our original plan was to spend two nights at a nearby hotel with a view, then move to Villa Libertad for a midnight ferry, but the ferry was cancelled and we ended up staying at the hotel instead. If you just need a place to sleep and don’t mind a room without a view, this is a good option. The host was extremely friendly and helpful. We needed a taxi to the port, and they offered to take us for a reasonable fee.

Panos was a really nice and helpful host, and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. There are a couple of motorbike and car rental places close by, and a nearby restaurant is a good option for dinner at sunset. The sunrise view early in the morning was fantastic. Breakfast is free and fair enough to get the day started.

The location in Imerovigli is ideal for hiking between Fira and Oia, and the place itself was quiet, well equipped, and just right for a couple. We also appreciated the refreshing access to the swimming pool. The welcome was especially warm, and the friendly staff were always ready with advice about what to do on the island. Breakfast was plentiful, all you can eat, and had a Greek flavour. With its great flat and wonderful view, Villa Libertad is a place we’d warmly recommend.
