The place looked lovely in the photos, but in person it was more like a makeshift house. A ladder led up to the attic, where the bed was poorly suited to the space, and going up and down felt like a fall risk. The worst part was the spiders. The windows looked as if they hadn't been cleared of them in years, and we watched them crawling on the glass. We couldn't get comfortable in the house because opening a window seemed like it would let them all in. Basically, we stayed in a spider house. 😡😡😡😡😡😡

We really liked the house: it was spotless and close to the center. Mr. Giannis was a great host and helped us with everything. We'd definitely choose the place again if we return!

Ioannina and the region were a wonderful discovery, especially the Vikos gorges, which were a favorite. The accommodation was charming, nicely renovated, and had everything we needed. Its location made it easy to explore the old town on foot, including the bars, restaurants, and shops. The hosts were kind and always available too.
