Petrino Villas

A lovely villa, exceptionally clean, comfortable and well equipped. It feels private and rural, yet it’s less than a ten-minute drive to Skopelos Town. The host was very responsive.

Andoni was terrific throughout, meeting us to show us the way to the villa, sharing recommendations and answering our questions or needs promptly. Petrino Villas is a wonderful place to stay in Skopelos, with a perfect location, outstanding furnishings and amenities. The sea and port views were lovely, and we’d happily come back. Just keep in mind you need a car to reach this villa. We stayed for just under a week and really enjoyed it.

We found the setting peaceful, with the bay in view from the porch where we ate dinner. The little infinity pool was enough to cool off in the August heat, and there was also an outdoor shower, an upstairs bathroom near the pool, and a lovely outlook toward a huge oak and the green hills. Inside, the kitchen and sitting area were nicely designed, with thoughtful architectural details throughout. The villas were new the year before our August 2022 stay. Getting there takes a car, or a good appetite for exercise: the turnoff is from the main road, then it’s about five minutes up a steep, bumpy stretch that’s partly unpaved. Walking back up, especially on dusty roads, didn’t appeal to us. The price was higher than some alternatives, though making meals in the small kitchen helped us save a bit. There’s a handy grocery store nearby, and we also picked up produce at the town market. Andonis, the property manager, was friendly and accommodating, and happy to answer questions about local sights. We’d love to stay again.
