Golden Suites & Spa

I only booked one night, which was a mistake. Both Ioannina and the hotel deserved more of our time. It's just outside the city, about a 10 minute drive, and having a rental car worked well since parking in the center can be tricky. Eleni went above and beyond, and the service was the highlight for me. We also had a spacious suite with a beautiful pool view, after being upgraded from the large suite I'd booked. Everything was immaculately maintained. The lobby and outdoor pool area are lovely and relaxing, and we enjoyed the excellent pool and petite gym for a few hours before exploring town. If you're driving around Ioannina or the surrounding region, Golden Suites and Spa is a great option. I wish we'd stayed longer to experience more of the hotel and area.

The hotel isn't right in the center, so it was quieter while Ioannina itself was lively. With a car, it took about 10 minutes to get into town. Book the spa ahead if you'd like to use it. We had a perfect stay. Our room was spacious and cosy, and the bed was super comfortable. There's a nice pool, and the breakfast selection was one of the biggest I've seen. Staff were thoughtful, very kind and helpful, and gave us fantastic suggestions. I'd definitely return!

The breakfast was great, and I was struck by the immaculate attention to detail in the room. My wife and I stayed at "Golden Suites & Spa " on our way north, and the experience exceeded what I expected. From check-in to the moment I reluctantly left, the team made us feel cared for. The doormen greeted us warmly, reception made check-in smooth, and every staff member showed professionalism and real commitment to our comfort. It felt like a glimpse of pure luxury and outstanding service. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone looking for that kind of luxury, service, and refinement.

The team welcomed us with wonderful hospitality as soon as we arrived, and they were always available for questions or anything we needed. They also shared great suggestions for places to see and things to do. For a family trip to Ioannina, Golden Suit & Spa was a comfortable choice, with spacious rooms. It's around a 12 minute drive from Ioannina and close to the main roads toward Zagory, Tzoumerka, and Meteora. I highly recommend it.
