For the first time, a hotel made me feel like I was at home. Ms. Homais's nostalgic mansion is centrally located right beside the lake, and its beautiful, nostalgic interiors show a strong sense of culture. The cleaning and breakfast were both very good. I hope there’s a room for me next time I visit.

We liked the hotel’s cute design and the homey feel, and its location near the lake and castle is handy. There’s free parking a few hundred meters away. The hostess was friendly and kind, and it’s a good place to stay. The main downside was a night of heavy rain: water was bouncing off something near our balcony and making a lot of noise, so we couldn’t sleep well.

Mrs Thomais made us feel very welcome, always smiling and ready to help with whatever we needed for a great stay. The small hotel is beautiful, with a relaxing, homely atmosphere.

The host was lovely and communicated well. She was very service minded, happy to help us with things to do around the city and share some good offers, and the whole process went smoothly from start to finish. The rooms were super clean, well organized, and well maintained. There’s a fridge, towels, and shampoo. Breakfast was more than enough for me, just don’t expect the full spread of a big hotel, which makes sense for what you pay. The hotel is only a few steps from the river and the location is excellent. A couple of things to keep in mind: the bathroom is nice but very small, and noise from the business next door was noticeable. It may depend on the room, so ask the owner about it if you’re a light sleeper. A kettle with hot drinks and a mosquito net would make the place even better. The bathroom wall fan also makes a lot of noise and sticks out, so I’d recommend pushing it in or replacing it. The new, beautiful towel rail could use some strengthening. If you’re in Ionia, stay here and you’ll feel almost at home. Nothing really ugly about the place.
