Asteri Studios

I had a wonderful two week stay in June 2025 at my favourite Asteri Kalamaki Studios, thanks to the fantastic hosts. The studios are well presented and cleaned spotless every day. There’s free soap and toilet paper, and towels and bedding were changed plenty of times. The beds are very comfortable, and each studio has a double and a single, which can save money for a small family or group. The patio door setup is particularly good for keeping insects out: one door cuts the light, there’s a mosquito door, and an inner glass door. Free air conditioning is remote controlled. The supermarket and main strip are an 8-10 minute walk, with lots of well priced restaurants, shops, and a spa. Across the road, Costas Pool Bar has a pool you can use for free, sunbeds, food, and a bar at very reasonable prices. They also arrange taxis and trips. The beach is a 15-20 minute walk or a €5 taxi ride. It’s a top beach, though you have to pay for sunbeds. Try this little heaven. I’ll contact the owner directly for the best rates next year. I booked an apartment at Asteri Studios through booking.com around 7:30 am on Sunday for two nights because of unexpected circumstances during my holiday. My check in was meant to be at 2 pm, but Vasaliki replied quickly and let me arrive at 9 am instead. She and her husband were welcoming and helpful, and the room was spotless with everything I needed. Air conditioning and a safe were included in the price, both must haves on holiday, and there was lots of parking. The apartments are beautiful, tidy, and in a great quiet spot just off the kalamaki strip, less than ten minutes from the airport. I stayed 31/8/25 to 2/9/25 and would happily return on my next visit to kalamaki. Perfect. 10/10, highly recommend. Thank you!

Asteri is small, quiet, very comfortable, and spotlessly clean, with great showers. Vasso is a really helpful hostess, and Petros is just as helpful. The studios and apartments are close to the beach and sea, and just off the main road near restaurants, supermarkets, cafes, and pharmacies. We’ve stayed many times and wouldn’t choose anywhere else. Give it a try yourself, you won’t regret it.

Vasiliki and Petros are wonderful hosts, and among the friendliest people we’ve had the pleasure of meeting. The rooms are immaculate, with the best standard of cleaning we’ve seen in Greece. Absolutely brilliant, great value, and highly recommended.
