We were a group of eight, four couples, and the villa was a great fit for our week. It has everything you might need, and every room has its own bathroom. Everything worked well, although hot water could be a bit limited some mornings until it warmed up, even with the heating system. The rooftop terrace was amazing. Holiways took care of the place, and everything went smoothly. The provided van was really useful and worked well; we used it every day. The neighborhood is pleasant and well located, though it's a short drive to Chania city and the beaches. Just watch the prices at the shops right by the villa, which felt a bit touristy. A supermarket may be a better option. If you want a big house for a group outside the city, I'd totally recommend it. Fantastic place, 5/5.

We had a wonderful holiday here with our friends and families. The hosts gave us a warm welcome and took care of all our needs. The house had everything we could ask for, including a pool, a kids' pool, and loads of pool toys for all ages. The roof terrace is spectacular. I'd love to stay forever.

We had a great stay at Villa Amelia from June 30 to July 9, 2022, with six adults, three children, and a baby. The best part was the meal Stella arranged for a birthday: an authentic three-course Cretan dinner, reasonably priced and the best meal we had all vacation. She was also exceptional at handling our questions before the trip and while we were in Crete, with helpful recommendations and suggestions. The property had great amenities and service. The Wi-Fi was good, the air conditioning worked well, and we made plenty of use of the clean pool and BBQ. We loved the rooftop balcony as a quiet spot to read, and had lovely sunsets and a couple of games nights up there. The included nine-seater van was incredible value, and we used it a lot to get around nearby Chania and to Elafonisi. I'd recommend Holiways Villa Properties and Stella without hesitation. We're already dreaming about coming back to the island.

The house is beautiful, with lovely furnishings and everything you need. The service from Holidays was pretty average, though. The manager was pushy, and despite asking for more towels, only one was changed over ten days. The beach towels weren't changed at all. Great house, poor service.
