We spent eight nights here in September and had a great time. The location is just right, with the beach, restaurants, shops, and a bus stop all close by. Our room was modern and clean, the bed was comfortable, and having a kitchenette was a nice bonus. The pools were nice, breakfast was pretty good, and the staff were attentive and helpful.

The staff were so lovely, and that really made our two weeks here in September 2025. The location is first-rate, the breakfast is really good, and the pool bar has snacks too. There are two beautiful pools, each with a different feel, but both are peaceful and relaxing. The rooms are on the small side, though very clean, with comfortable beds and surprisingly good showers, which isn't always a given in Greece. Can recommend 110%!!!

I've stayed at Hippocampus three times now, and I can't imagine choosing another place in Kamari or Santorini. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are comfortable and lovely, and everything is clean. The pools are gorgeous and the staff are so welcoming and friendly. Thanks, I'll be back next year.

A lovely, quiet hotel. The receptionist was generous with information about the area and really helpful. Check-in was quick, even though we arrived a bit early.

The team were so warm and down to earth that the whole place felt perfect. Even the cleaners greeted us with a smile and a good morning, and the receptionist was always ready to help. The family who run it are lovely, and in my view they make this a six-star stay. It's not five-star in the traditional sense, but the service is immaculate, and the pools and recent improvements are five-star. The breakfast buffet is ample and well stocked. The beach is two or three minutes away on foot, along with restaurants, supermarkets, plenty of bars, and airport pickups. For a quick lunch there's a little takeaway across the road with lovely gyros, and there's also a very nice restaurant on the corner. Honestly, I couldn't praise this place more.
