Kafouros is at one end of Kamari, and if low-flying aircraft bother you, Kamari may not suit you. We loved it here. The beach front is a short walk away, and we felt very, very welcome throughout our stay. It’s a beautiful family-run hotel with a modern feel and a warm, friendly atmosphere. The staff work exceptionally hard and always seem to have a smile. Our room was lovely, and the cleaners came every day if you wanted them to. The paintings around the building are stunning. The pool and sunbeds were popular with other guests, though that’s not really our thing. We had a few drinks at the bar, which also serves food from 7.30am. We had breakfast there because some places didn’t open until 11am, and we enjoyed chatting with other guests and our lovely host Eleni. Honestly, a truly lovely hotel, and I highly recommend it.

The rooms were cleaned to a high standard every day, and the hotel is family-run with super friendly staff. It’s an easy five-minute flat walk to Kamari’s beach front, shops, and restaurants. I’ve just returned from a week here, and it’s definitely one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at. If I’m ever back in Santorini, I’ll stay here again without hesitation.

A great spot for getting around, and we’d definitely come back. It’s a well-run family business where we were always greeted with a smile. Our room was spotless, though two rooms don’t have private balconies, so check before booking.

The pool and the whole vibe are lovely, and the food is really good value. This is an amazing family-run hotel with lovely, beautiful, and very clean self-catering apartments. The staff are incredibly friendly. We love it here, and to me it’s easily five-star, even though it’s rated three stars. Thank you, Billy, Eleni, and Georgia! It’s only a short walk to the beach, shops, and lots of great restaurants. In two minutes you can hire a car or quad bike, or buy food at one of several supermarkets.

The pool bar was popular, the prices were cheaper than at bars outside, and I never had trouble getting a sun lounger. The family who own the hotel are so nice and friendly. It’s a good location, five minutes from the shops and beach. I had a spotless triple studio on the ground floor, cleaned every day.
