Our room, number 30, was a great family setup, with the bedroom upstairs and two sofas downstairs, plus a pool view. This small hotel has 12 rooms, and ours had a fridge, kettle, TV with smart apps, and very quiet, effective air conditioning. It’s run by a lovely family and is one of the cleanest hotels we’ve stayed in. Nothing was broken or worn out, and even the sink plug worked perfectly. Breakfast is served at the attached Ela restaurant. You can pick the next day’s breakfast in advance, or ask for something extra in the morning. There’s a very clean pool at ambient temperature, with sunbeds, parasols, and pool towels provided. The beach is volcanic, with black sand and pebbles. Seaside is at the quieter northern end of Kamari, though the livelier southern end is only five minutes away. The bus stop and supermarkets are close by. We drove, and couldn’t park right outside, but found parking around the corners, as shown in the picture. Kamari is on the flight path, so planes are sometimes noisy.

The location made getting around easy, with a bus stop nearby for trips to Fira and Oia and their famous white houses. The hotel is right beside the beach and charming promenade, and guests can use its sunbeds. Our stay at this family-run place was wonderful: the rooms were lovely, clean, and comfortable, and the service was always warm. Breakfast was freshly made to order each morning and delicious. We’d gladly come back and highly recommend it.

It was quiet and peaceful here, and the room was cleaned every day, always left spotless. The staff were friendly and polite. The owners were especially kind, welcoming, and helpful, explaining what we needed to know and greeting us with a smile each day. The whole stay felt very pleasant, almost like being at home. I’d definitely recommend it.

Manos, his wife, their family, and the staff made the biggest impression. They were so friendly and did everything they could to make our stay enjoyable. Breakfast came to the table rather than being buffet style, with lots of choice, and we could ask for more. The restaurant and bar area was very nice, with a good selection of food and drinks. Our room was a good size, with a comfortable bed and a lovely sea view from the large balcony, room 5. The beach is just across a small road and promenade, and restaurants and shops are an easy walk away.

The restaurant attached to the hotel was so good that we ended up eating there most days. Every meal was fresh and delicious, and the servers and other staff gave us some of the best service we’ve experienced. They even remembered that we liked playing Tavli and brought us a board when we returned in the evening. Before the trip, staff helped arrange transport from the airport, which was a real help after our four-hour flight. Manos and his family welcomed us warmly. We stayed five nights, and our clean, comfortable room had a gorgeous beach view. My partner and I will certainly return for another relaxing holiday. It’s one of the best hotels we’ve stayed at, and I can’t recommend it enough.
