The pool is on the small side, but it was just right for cooling off after reading on the sunloungers. Dimitris and his staff were a lovely, welcoming bunch, and I highly recommend trying Dimitri's BBQ grill, which he holds regularly for guests. Pati even offered to do my sister's hair for her wedding when the local salon was closed, and she did an amazing job. Thank you, Dimitris and co'. Julia and I will definitely be back. My sister and I spent a week sharing an apartment at Sellada Apartments while visiting Kamari, Santorini for the first time for our other sister's wedding near Fira. The airport transfer was easy, about 15 minutes by taxi and around 25 euros. Our host Dimitri and his colleague Pati greeted us with cold drinks at the pool bar, while Dimitri explained island activities like boat trips and vehicle rentals. The apartment had plenty of space, with a double bedroom for my sister, two sofa beds in the living area for me, a basic kitchen, bathroom and balcony. It had what we needed. The air conditioner in the living room didn't work, but I could manage the nighttime heat, so I didn't complain. We explored the bars, restaurants and boutiques along Kamari beach. I also ran a couple of times early in the morning up the mountain toward the beach's southern end. It was beautiful, though I'd only recommend that route with running shoes or trainers. The apartment location also meant a quick walk to the beach and along the shops, and you could cool off in the pool whenever you liked. The bed was okay, if not luxurious. The owner sat and talked with us for about 20 minutes on arrival, gave us the key, and mentioned the 1.50 euro tax per night, not per person. He can take you around the island for much less than the tour companies charge, and has a weekly BBQ, so ask when it's happening.

We've stayed at Sellada Apartments twice now, and we'll keep coming back. The rooms are lovely and very clean, and the food and drinks are good too. Most of all, the owner and his crew, who feel like friends, are really nice people. I'd recommend it to anyone after an affordable, beautiful holiday.

The apartments are simple but had everything we needed, and they're wonderfully close to Kamari beach. The staff were so nice. We had a great BBQ there, with karaoke alongside the meal, which made for a fantastic evening.

The location and grounds are lovely, with lots of flowers around the three-part building. Kamari Beach is about three minutes away, and tavernas and the promenade are a couple of minutes' walk. Our apartment was spacious and nice, housekeeping did an excellent job every day, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the pool was fine. The barista was consistently kind and skilled, and made very good cocktails, including ones that weren't on the menu. There were some drawbacks. The furniture is old and could use partial replacement. The host and their children are around much of the time, which can feel unpleasant. BBQ evenings sometimes go very late; since they're held in the middle of everything and sound insulation is zero, the noise from the host, guests or kids can be disturbing. The host doesn't keep it to a reasonable level. I'm not usually easily bothered by noise, either. Breakfast was very basic and exactly the same every day: one boiled egg, a pat of butter, two half slices of ham, two half slices of cheese, two or three pieces of toast, jam packets, one glass of juice and coffee or tea. The coffee was good. The BBQ itself was okay, but it includes meat only, and the final price ends up 70-100% above what was advertised. Double check trip and car offers from the host, since you can probably find better deals 50 metres away.

The location was the biggest plus for me. It's right among the shops and places to eat, about a minute and a half on foot from the beach, and there's a pool you can swim in whenever you like. Farther south along the beach it's mostly food places, while farther north the sidewalk eventually ends, so this spot is right in the middle of things. It's a cute guesthouse sort of place, and the owner sits down to chat for around 20 minutes when you arrive and hand over your key. There's a 1.50 euro tax per night, not per person. If you want a tour around the island, he'll take you for much less than the tour companies. He also does a BBQ once a week, so ask when. Everyone was very friendly. The bed was okay, but not luxurious.
